Automotive Electrical Technology

A qualification in this field will develop your skills and knowledge in repairing electrical components, lighting, wiring and diagnosing faults in engine management, as well as other electrical/electronic engineering systems.

Automotive Mechanical Technology – Light Vehicle

Want to learn how to service, repair and diagnose faults in light vehicle engines, transmissions, suspensions, steering, brake, electrical systems and components? As an automotive technician or light vehicle mechanic you’ll specialise in the after service and repair industries. There are also a wide range of apprenticeship and traineeship courses available.

Automotive Mechanical Technology – Heavy Vehicle and Plant Equipment

If you have a passion for anything with wheels and a motor, imagine a career where you can do it on a large scale with heavy vehicles and plant equipment. A qualification in this field will give you the skills you need for a job as a heavy vehicle motor mechanic in the automotive or agricultural industries. Automotive – Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) approved courses
