We have 14 locations across South Eastern NSW, from Wollongong in the North, down the South Coast and across to Bega and the Southern Highlands.

Quality assured

TAFE NSW, Illawarra is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), provider number 90006, with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). This means you receive quality nationally recognised training when you complete a qualification with us.

TAFE NSW, Illawarra RTO underwent an ASQA Reregistration Audit in March 2014. We were found to be compliant against the VET Quality Framework and subsequently were granted registration up to December 2019 with no conditions.

TAFE NSW, Illawarra RTO was most recently audited by ASQA under the national Strategic Industry  Review – Equine.  ASQA advised TAFE NSW, Illawarra RTO in writing on 4 March 2015 that the “strategic review audit conducted on TAFE NSW, Illawarra RTO has been finalised and your registered training organisation (RTO) has been noted for its ongoing compliance with the VET Quality Framework as relevant to the scope of the Audit”.
